The Atlas 12 series snowshoes are the go-getter, do all snowshoe ready to handle anything between the trailhead and the summit. Like the other snowshoes in their line these use the same great Wrapp Pro bindings but these featureFlowTape silicone straps that glide through low-friction buckles witha smooth buckle release for easy on-off use. They also use a nicer 7075 aluminum frame for lighter weight and stronger tubing, and also use variable ReactiVforming which gives these snowshoes a stiffer, more responsive flex. Also, with the Spring-LoadedSuspension you get deeper penetration of the toe crampon while the Advanced Aft Traction gives you sure footed feel on any type of terrain. The 12 series is Atlas' top of the line snowshoes, so when you're ready to play in some real snow you know what tool you need in your arsenal.
